"I love you" texting

Created by MLIAers (Mylifeisaverage.com), the "I love you" texting fad swept across the nation. With people texting random numbers saying, "I love you," MLIA became a love-spreading mini-phenomenon. And although the MLIAers were sending out a kind message, a lot of receivers complained and threatened to call the authorities. With the creators of MLIA getting email after email of complaints of the site users sending anonymous texts, this fun hobby became a big problem. Eventually, Mylifeisaverage.com created a page about the dangers of texting people you don't know, and soon after that, the "I love you" texts decreased significantly.

But although the texting has subsided, a simple "I love you" is known throughout the world by the users of MLIA.
Person One: "Have you heard about the '"I love you" texting? Supposedly a bunch of people are sending out random texts telling people they love them."
Person Two: "Man, I want an 'I love you' text."

Person Three: "I love you!"
Person Four: "My life is average."

I love you but I'm not in love with you

Phrase used exclusively by shallow self-absorbed individuals who actually have no concept of what it means to love or be loved. Their hearts are vacant and usually associate sex not with a deeply emotional or spiritual experience but rather purely a physical and transient act involving no emotion. Such individuals are limited in both intellect and in normal socialization skills. People who use this overused cliche usually suffer from a combination of schizotypal disorder and sociopathy. A catch-all phrase when the person doing the dumping knows there is no reason for the relationship to end, other than for purely selfish reasons of wanting to pursue sexual relations with other individuals outside of the current relationship.

I Love You, But

The phrase someone close to you says before they point out a flaw, something you did or are currently doing wrong, a mistake you made, something embarrassing, or something just flat out mean. This phrase is mostly used by parents and spouses, not so much by close friends and non-immediate family members.
Example 1

Mom: Jerry, you know I love you, but you did a really shitty job at sweeping the kitchen floor.

Jerry: Ugh you always say that before you yell at me for something stupid.

Dad: Allan, you know I love you, but that haircut you got today makes you look very homosexual.

Allan: Wow thanks.
