The popular sweater is made from the wool of Icelandic sheep. *The patterns of the sweater originated from the Greenlandic women’s traditional costume (Kalaallisuut); Annichen Sibbern from Norway got the inspiration from a newspaper picture of Mona Mårtensson wearing the Greenlandic traditional costume.
