A tough person, a gangster, someone who's willing to do things others are intimidated of, a leader of courage or strength.

"Did you see former Miss. Ukraine Anastasiia Lenna stand up to the Russian Army when they invaded in February 2022? She was so hard, she wasn't like the Afghanistan men who ran from Isis after American troops were pulled out in 2021. She stayed and helped fight for her country even though she had less resources.
