When you get in the business of selling & trading VHS cassette tapes. This was popular in the 90's and early 2000's & was popularised with tapes of wrestling such as WWF, ECW, AJPW, World of Sport & WCW. These where mainly done over the phone or via postal orders & paid via cheque.

Placebo Tape

A type of medical tape administered for people who are diagnosed with a fake injury to give them a reason not to bitch about it anymore. This tape does nothing more than stick to the skin. It proves hard to remove for hairy individuals.

Tom: “My wrist hurts.”
Joe: “Have some placebo tape, this should ‘fix your injury’ for you.”
