A context babe is a person who's attractiveness depends entirely on the context in which you know them, and would not normally be attractive outside of said contextual situation. A person who you would not look at twice when crossing paths on the sidewalk, but makes you hot and bothered when you see them playing guitar with their band.

If used properly, it can be slipped into a conversation as a direct address toward a professional superior to demonstrate a disregard for the power that the other person should have. It is often (but not always) preceded or followed by the word "c'mon."

used to describe a girl who is so hot, just thinking about her apparently renders you unable to speak coherently.
Originates from trying to say either "she's a total babe", or "she's the hottest babe on the planet". But all that comes out is "she's a babe planet" or "total babe planet", so you basically end up call the girl a planet. Flattering.
