An individual that spends more time at their town's square than they do at their own home or at places of greater entertainment value. Often, a square rat will shout insults or jabs at passers by to reinforce their own self esteem. A square rat is not a good person.
Person A: "Man, the other the day, that kid who hangs out at the square all day started calling me a fag!"
Person B: "Yeah, he's just a square rat. Don't worry about him"

Get the Square Wearmug. most likely the best game you will ever play. involves a ping pong ball, active people/students who can get low to play, and is similar to 4 square. rules are as follows: no slamming into other's squares, can only bounce once into your square until you hit it out into another's square and girls usually aren't allowed to play. players keep advancing, main goal is becoming king.
in ping square, say a group of 4 people wanted to play(though it is better with 6 or so), they all get in their square and the "king" serves it to whoever they want. the person who gets out is the one who had the ball bounce more than once in their square before they were quick enough to get it out.
