An idiom of hip hop culture used to refer to the tendency or ability for real individuals to identify, connect with, or otherwise respect, other real individuals. The usage of real is identical to that in the more generic phrase keepin' it real, i.e. genuine, true.

2. Extremely ridiculous.

Word coined by 'Loveline' radio show host Adam Carolla after show producers recieved complaints that he was using the word "Dick" on the air. Producers suggested he use the word "Cock" instead. Carolla, mockingly concerned about overemphasizing the "dic" syllable in ridiculous, began saying "Recockulous" instead.

The idea of Dr. Drew Pinsky entering the World's Strongest Man competition is recockulous.

Force Recon

A special operations group that is a sub-divison of the united states marine corps that is similar in characteristics to Navy SEALs, Army Rangers, Air Force Combat Controllers, but complement, rather than replace the other services "special" operational forces. In cooperation with these special operations forces, the deployed Marine units (including Recon support) provide a theater commander with a range of options. Marine Recon retains a basic focus as a supporting component of the combined arms Marine Air/Ground Task Force, constantly forward-deployed in the security interests of the United States.
