PoK

PoK is an acronym used by the players of the MMORPG Everquest, in order to easily refer to the Plane of Knowledge. This is a zone that was introduced to the game in the expansion set, Everquest: Planes of Power, which coincidentally enough, users of Everquest often refer to as PoP.

The Plane of Knowledge is a central area to the game, in which people may access distant places all throughout the game world, via clickable stone portals placed throughout the zone. Thus, it is spoken of a lot while playing.

Let's head to the PoK to meet up, and buy some new spells.

POK

Parent Over Keyboard. Used as a alternative to "POS" when a parent is watching you talk over IMs. Used as an alternative in conversations because "POS" is also an abbreviation for "pice of shit", and may be confusing in normal conversations.

-Guy 1- "Dude!!! I just had first time last night!!!"

-Guy 1- "umm... first time having a energy drink"

pok guy

a cantonese slang, to die. Literal meaning is to fall down out on the street and die. "pook" is the sound of the head hitting the pavement. "Gai" is the street.

It is used when someone is angry at someone or something and wishes the person dead. Or just used when one is angry.

(i am adding this because none of the other postings had the literal translation of the term)

Damn...that pok guy just ran a red light and almost hit me!

I hope that asshole hurry up and pok guy!
