Jupptac is a derivative of the words "Gyp" as in gypsy/pikey/shitty/budget/pauper and "Tack" meaning tackle, but also used to describe stuff in general. Tacky stuff in particular. The word GYP-TACK was softened in pronunciation to become JUPPTAC.
