The ONLY decent thing on that stupid ass channel called MTV. On during the late 80's through the early 90's. Hosted by a cool person named Riki Rachtman, he'd feature kickass metal. He actually knows what he talking about. There is a new version of the show, but isn't good, or the same as the old one, because today's nu metal blows.

The old Headbanger's Ball was cool because that's when metal was metal. Fuck MTV.

Reference to Afro-Samurai, the popular Anime starring Samuel L. Jackson (voice) as the title character.

In a futuristic yet feudal Japan, it is said that the one who wields the Number 1 headband is the fiercest fighter in the world and shall possess godlike powers. The only way to obtain the Number 1 headband is to challenge and defeat him in combat. However, only the Number 2 can challenge the Number 1, while anyone can challenge the Number 2, which causes a constant struggle for the Number 2 headband.

This is used when it seems like EVERYONE has a bone to pick with you in a given day

HeadMate

A headmate is an "Alter" of someone who has Dissociative Identity Disorder. A headmate is their own person who has split off from the original person's mind, who has their own separate wants, goals, needs, gender, age, etc.

These headmates are usually formed as a coping mechanism, helping the person with DID to survive the traumatic experiences that they have been a victim to. A collection of headmates including the host is called a Multiple/Median System.

Due to the large amount of systems on Tumblr, it has been wrongly labelled as a "Tumblr trend" and been accused of mocking mental illness, despite it being a mental disorder in itself.
