The giggins is a real thing not to be confused with Indian folklore or mythical creatures. They must commonly are equipped with larger than life breasts - that each have there own heart beat. It is the PC way of calling girl big - she is a giggin not a biggin.

Whenever the cursor (mouse pointer) changes to an animation signifying some kind of buffering, or large computation or any other activity that involves waiting. The cursor animation which truly means to be "whirly giggin" is the rainbow circle spinning on a Mac computer. It has hence been used to represent any type of spinning circle.
