Condiment Salad

When a person who is cheap makes a "free" salad from the fixings bar at a burger restaurant. They will pile shredded lettuce with onions, tomatoes and whatever else is available on the bar.

They will make their own salad dressing by mixing ketchup with mayonnaise and relish.

The condiment salad is usually made on a hamburger wrapper or basket liner.

The condiment salad goes well with Jewish lemonade and is popular with the mature Florida set.

Family members are generally horrified by the actions and tend to sit on the other side of the room away from them.

Mom, tell me you aren't going to cheap out and make a condiment salad to go with your jewish lemonade and pay nothing.

containment sub

In the context of Reddit, (A online community involving a myriad of "subreddit" forums called "subs", each with their own distinct culture and moderation) a containment sub is a sub that is usually more lax in some area of moderation. This is to let a certain subsect of people (that are usually running counterpoint to Reddits main company, particularly in political issues) congregate there and not spread into other subs and "infect" them with their ideology. Certain topics (such as articles about the ponzi scheme Ellen Pao's (the CEO of Reddit) husband created, can cause you to be shadowbanned in many forums, yet in a containment sub they generally will stay viewable indefinitely.

One particularly notable example of these is /r/kotakuinaction, which deals with the Gamergate movement. (and in particular is anti-SJW, whereas Reddit as a company is more definitely pro)

Don't worry about posting that, we're in a containment sub, your account is safe from the mods.

Content Surge

When you're into a certain type of content or are looking for such content (usually subscribed to a collection) and have very little luck with finding them since they're either too obscure or just are just stale in quantity, then suddenly you come across a lot of it at once when you search one day, akin to finding a hidden goldmine full of what you love.

Day 1: Meh, I looked everywhere, there's almost no coop maps for Gmod on the workshop, it's just a bunch of fnaf saves or meme maps.
Day 2: Holy shit I decided to search in a new tricky way using Google search tricks and also searched in other hidden places such as forums and archives and found huge amount of collections, reuploads, mega, mediafire and dropbox links, FULL of forgotten coop maps, it stacks up to like around 1000+ maps! HOLY SHIT what a content surge! I don't know what to start with! I'm so excited!
