When you get home from a USY even (conventions, dances, trips etc...) and you are really overwelmingly sad that the event is over and you look back at you time and was like woah i did some crazy shit at USY and you miss all your friends and you start counting down the days till the next event

After attending IT'S The Ship, Asia's Largest Music Festival at Sea. You start to have EDM, Trance Withdrawals. You miss your Ship Family from all over the world. All you can do is remember the 3 Day's 2 Nights of partying.

Dude, I'm having the worst case of ITS Withdrawals and it's only been two days since we got back.

NFTY Withdrawal

A feeling of extreme depression after NFTY events. Often causes anti-socialism and intense dissatisfaction with home-life and non-Jewish friends because nobody can understand how much fun you had.

After NFTY Convention '07, i had a severe case of nfty withdrawal and only wished to see my Jewish friends.

Weekend Withdrawal

The feeling one gets on a Sunday night or Monday (and possibly after) following a good weekend. Symptoms are a sadness to wait a week for the weekend, a need to party/club/etc, depression when you hear a party/club/dance song, the need to go out during the week even if it means disregarding responsibilities, and others of the sort.

Tyler: I'm going to skip class tomorrow.
Will: Why?
Tyler: I have weekend withdrawal, I'm going to find a party.

Marching Band Withdrawal

That time period after marching band season when you don't know what to do with your life. It usually begins towards the end of November, leading to weight gain due to the upcoming holiday season and lack of regular exercise that one had previously.

Man, I'm having serious marching band withdrawal right now. I don't start my homework on our old rehearsal days until 9.

CTY withdrawal (also known as ACW)

ACW: acute cty withdrawal
Currently, there is no cure. It is the period that can be a couple of days to several years after you leave CTY in which you miss your friends very very much. Symptoms may include hacking cough, the "sniffles," and a horrible cold, as well as randomly thinking of a great memory and breaking down crying. The most noticable of symptoms is the tearing that occurs (even in the toughest of men) whenever one hears any High Holy Canon (Forever Young, Stairway to Heaven, and American Pie), however American Pie has the most noticable effect. Also can induce the sufferer to listen to Canon repeatedly for the following month after CTY, especially all the songs which were not played at the dances. ACW is the reason for the various canon lists on the internet. The most effective treatment is that one either return to cty, create a cty boarding school, or spend lots of time with ctyers.

I'm suffering from CTY withdrawal (also known as ACW)... I feel so sick. I miss you guys!
