The act (usually performed by a female) in which the perpetrator will stop talking to the 'moiree' (typically a male) for no apparent reason, despite the forming of good acquaintance, a previously organized rendezvous, and/or prospects of physical relations.

Guy 1: Yo, thought you were going out tonight with that girl?
Guy 2: Yeah so did I, she quit talking to me last week for no reason.
Guy 1: Thought you organized a date and everything?
Guy 2: Yeah we did.
Guy 1: Damn, sounds like you got moira'd hard.

Guy 1: Oh damn! who's that?
Guy 2: This girl I met the other night. Sure hope she doesn't moira me like the last bitch did.
