A hijab stab is a form of micro aggression often experienced by non Muslims when approached by someone wearing various forms of Islamic dress. A young woman approaching a hijabi wearing woman on the street knows how she is being viewed by that woman. She experiences a hijab stab. A homosexual approaching a woman wearing a burka knows that the burka wearing woman believes that he should be put to death for his lifestyle. He experiences a hijab stab. A dog owner walking his dog through a park in which there are many people in Islamic dress knows that many Muslims consider dogs filthy. He may experience a hijab stab.
