Underwater Basket Weaving

Something to write on sweat pants if there is nothing else to, often followed by numbers 1-7 no one knows where this practice comes from however it is largely considered random without cause and just because/ why not?

I don't know what to put on the sweatpants!

Basket of Weaving

A situation in which someone has intentionally created a drama storm to which is referred to as the "basket of weaving"

The dramatic exerts of a "puppet master" making all the little puppets dance to his/her rhythm... the rhythm of basket weaving

1:Girl - "I need you to talk to my friend for me, I think she's mad at me for sleeping with her boyfriend"
You - "...don't add me to your basket of weaving"

2:Boy - "Jon said he saw you steal from my house..dude, whats up?"
You - "Jon is weaving us into a basket because he's jealous of our friendship"

basketweaving

Basketweaving is creating a long narrative of lies stringing people along with it. Basketweaving can take the form of simply making up a new term or convincing someone you can do/did something you didn't. Differently from simply just lying or gasligting, basketweaving is usually over the course of months, creating a "basket" of lies.

Person 1: "My boyfriend says he works at a restaurant, but always refuses to ever take me there and is oddly dismissive about anything related to his job."

Person 2: "Sorry, but I think he might be basketweaving."
