BU stands for Bangtan Universe, an alternate universe that BTS made. The story officially started way back 2015 and is still ongoing today. ARMY makes a lot of BU theories since BTS and Big Hit company left it open for interpretation. The clues for BU are found in: BTS music videos, notes that they include in albums, short films and etc.. The BU storyline tackles about realistic problems we face in real life. Depression, anxiety, abusive parents, abandonment, traumas, poverty and many more. BU also teaches ARMY to slowly learn to love ourselves. And BU is also inspired from books like Damian.
ARMY 1: The BU is so sad! Did you read the webtoon series? It's called Save Me.
ARMY 2: Of course! I can't miss it! Jin kept time travelling to save the other six members from their missery.
ARMY 1: Yeah! But when do you think does loving ourself start in BU?
ARMY 2: Remember that Jin loses a piece of his memory everytime he goes back in time. He's saving the others while in the process he's also losing his self.
