This was popularized after the French saw the rest of the world and lost all respect, desperate to get rid of those other impure men, they flattened them under heavy rocks. This was later adopted by the car as it was far more fun, far easier and had the exact same effect. This practice has been replicated by other countries in the modern age as well, although, by filthy outsiders.
