stall waiting

The near certainty that if you don't stand right outside the only stall in the bathroom, waiting for its occupant to finish, someone will slip in ahead of you once it's vacated. This is exacerbated by the equal certainty that your date will conclude you've slipped out the back door of the restaurant if you don't return to the table immediately and explain what's happening. It's a good reason to take a cell phone to the bathroom.

So this guy is taking forever to leave the stall, two other people are lined up outside the men's room, and my date calls my cell phone to say she's sure I have commitment issues. I tell her I'm on stall waiting, and I'll be back just as soon as possible.

The Waiting Game

A game where guys (or sometimes girls) usually in college or at football camp, etc. show their genitals to each other in various formations. When one guy looks at another's genitals, he is called gay or a fag (or both) and is then kicked. How many times he is kicked dependeds on the formation of the genitals.

Guy#1: Hey dude, look at this
Guy#2: What . . . awww sick man
Guy#1: Aha faggot!
Guy#2: What was that, the batwing?
Guy#1: Yea dude, thats three kicks
Guy#2: Fuck the Waiting Game

Waiting for the dust to settle.

As many think of today for some atmospheric clearance of waiting for the dust to settle, it is actually a moment for grief. That time shared and spent during the moments of having someones ashes and the distance it takes till that dust settles to move on.

Sad Joan recently lost her beloved dog. A pet she was always walking everyday, seen by everyone, and spoken to as their nearest and dearest.

Having a cremation for her long lost pet, she carefully placed the ashes upon her mantle piece.
Each day as her closest friends paid their respectful concerns, as they were waiting for the dust to settle. Then the days were becoming brighter again.

waiting to exhale

Based on the beginning of the movie "Waiting To Exhale" where a woman damages a man's personal property by cutting up his clothes, splashing bleach on them or burning them, cutting up the funiture and mattress, up to include damaging or burning his car after finding out he cheated on her. A woman will also most likely damage items or clothes that she bought for him.

When she found out I was cheating on her she went home and did a "waiting to exhale."
