When you get hit by a brick to the head (metaphorically) you get a slight flashback of what happened a time before now, so when a brick storm happens you remember A LOT of what happened.

Thanatos: "Oh shit man, Brick storm...."
SS: "whats wrong man?"
Thanatos: "last night dude, dont you remember"
ss: "Ahh, bad flashback huh?"
Thanatos: "Yeap.... we must never speak of that day again"
