Circa 1965: The original dork was derived from the combining of two words.. dick and York. It was derived from a young woman whose last name was York who had a healthy and frequent appetite for sex. It began as 'dick York" and later morfed to "dork" to describe the act. It was also referred to "dorking". The young men that she favored soon become known as Dorks. I know this is true because I was one of the original Dork's and believe it was I who first used this term.

This name became a monikor for several young men, in highschool, who were sexually associated with a certain young girl, in the same time period, whose last name rhymed with dork. Because this young girl chose only this group of young, handsome, sexy men to share her affection with, these studs became known as "Dorks."
