Any person who is so miserable and lacking self worth that said person makes his/her lifes goal of pissing others off and generally being a lamer.

Don't listen to that troll, he hates himself and therefore must bother everyone around him.

Chiefly used in Michigan to describe the residents of Michigan's Lower Peninsula who live south of (or under) the 5 mile long Mackinac Bridge that connects Michigan's upper and lower peninsulas.

Mary's family from Houghton were concerned about their daughter marrying a Troll from Lansing.

Troll

One who posts content on a forum to make people extremely angry, and possibly start a flame war. In recent years however, trolling has greatly evolved, spawning entire categories of ways to piss people off. Trolls are also largely shaped by their internet environment, such that on forums, they may merely "flame", but on other sites such as anonymous chat sites (such as omegle) they go to great lengths to bother people. These include asking them if they are turtles, like fishsticks, or saying "India". On anonymous video chatting sites, they go to even greater lengths to bother people, making up entire songs and others to bother people. Many examples of trolling can be found on Art of Trolling, a site hosted by the cheezburger network.

To use the internet to start problems, insult, or hurt others. An action that only usually affects the person trolling.
Usually a very bored, lonely person with no friends. Or a punk ass kid.

1. A word used to describe someone who has opinions you don't agree with.

2. A unfunny meme that has surfaced due to events in the manga called Bleach. It consists of lame posters calling every event they didn't think of and/or didn't like a troll.

Trolling is a method of fishing where one or more false or oxymoron statements, are thrown into a conversation or simple message reply baited with sarcasm and witticism meant to trick, confuse or just insult the recipient
