Kid: Actually Dad, he’s not using it to refer to gay people or innocent people in general. Faggot now refers to evil people who take pride and pleasure in making other people suffer by allowing them to drown in poverty and bondage while they float in their yachts and laugh at us while pissing fluoride in our water. They inflicted so much pain and suffering on the human population through human rights abuses and the inversion of all that is holy and wise, that the only way for us as a united people to take back our language, our culture, and our rights is to start with the simplest and most basic things - like the words we use to describe each other and reality - and work on improving them and reversing the inversion (shining a light on the darkness) instead of ignoring them out of fear which will cause more negative emotions as opposed to reversing the vicious cycle of pain and suffering (samsara) and turning it into a virtuous cycle of growth and vitality.

Kid: Fo sho dad, it’s not like any of us is perfect. We’re all just trying our best in this chaotic mess we call life, each of us trying our best to weave the golden threads of success and virtue in the cosmic tapestry of the universe and the unconditional love of God.
