So when you beat a level, Mario has to wait for the next bus to depart so that means, if he beats a level, if he enters the- the castle right before a bus leaves, then he can get on it and he doesn't have to wait very long. But if he just misses a bus then he has to wait for the next one to leave.
And that's how this game works
