Praisebait can also involve heavily edited photos or aesthetic edits that present someone in an exaggeratedly perfect way, aiming to elicit admiration and praise. Often seen as a subtle form of attention-seeking or self-image manipulation.
Emma posts a flawless, professionally edited selfie with the caption: “I look so tired and gross today, don’t even look at me.” Within minutes, the comments are filled with people telling her how stunning she looks.
