A martial art that originated in Okinawa. It lost it's good reputation when it stretched out to the western world and started producing false techniques and used their teachings primarily for money. Karate is often misinterpeted for a martial art that is ineffective and homosexual, but when used in it's true form is actually one of the most deadliest martial arts

Karate thug

NOUN: 1. a ghetto dweller or hip hop aficiando who enjoys martial arts. 2. an urbanite who plays an unnatural amount of Tekken, listens to Wu-Tang and mixes his breakdance moves with martial arts. 3. A Wu-Tang Clan lover

Anthony was a total karate thug, playing Tekken Tag then doing that cheesy crane kick from "Karate Kid" in the driveway with Pookie and them from up the street.

Karthika

1)A representation of the quantity of a phsycic connection between two seperate people.

2)A state of bad health in which a human breaks down in convulsions and has spasms at regular intervals due to excessive laughing causing bodily harm to the victim. Medically, it has a striking similarity to an epileptic fit.

3)A pseudonym used in reference to the purgatory state between heavan and hell.

Man 1: That Ho can read me like a book!
Man 2: Yeah, the amount of Karthika between you two is almost disturbing.
Man 1: Tell me about it!

Woman: My husband was rushed to hospital this morning!
Friend: What happened?!
Woman: He entered Karthika.
Friend: Oh no! I hope he gets well soon, send him my regards.

Priest: I'm sure a little bribe might not be too out of order here...
Man: Will this lessen my time in Karthika?
Priest: Oh most certainly...by about 2 minutes...Karthika is a very unforgiving state of the universe.
Man: Oh Well, It's better than nothing.

kartavya

"kartavya" is a word founded from the Sanskrit origin but has totally unrelated meanings in english. In sanskrit it means "duty". In English, the word is an informal addressing made to someone you like, love. Or to someone who you find intelligent, or "classy"/"dude", the Best.
The word, pronounced as "care-tev-aa" is commonly used in the northern parts of USA and in California and the Atlantic islands.
