One of the major parts of The Price Is Right, the second step after a player has won the One-Bid. Most of these can be played for furniture, cash, or even cars. One example is Plinko, a fan favorite that debuted in 1983, which offers cash prizes up to $50,000.

"(insert name here), you're going to play PLINKO for a chance to win up to $50,000!" Rich Fields announced to the lucky contestant before the pricing game started and the audience cheered wildly.

One upsmanship taken to extremes, particularly by drunken men. Etymology seems to stem from drunken campfire conversations regarding being hit by transportation vehicles.
