Hungerbrag

When you, usually consciously, try to get away with bragging about how little you've eaten that day in a phony show of humility. This often creates a competition amongst friends over who has eaten the least prior to your meal.

(A term inspired and derived from the late Harris Whittel's term 'humblebrag')

"Oh my god, I can't wait for my meal to come out! All I've eaten today is half a sandwich and some peanuts."

"Pfft, all I'VE had today was an apple."
