Pacific Palisades

A place in Western Los Angeles along the West Coast. The Palisades are home to rich people (literal millionaires) which burned down at the beginning of 2025 as a result of a formidable, unforgiving fire fueled by Santa Ana Winds, reaching up to 100+ mph (hurricane level!) and harshly dry weather conditions. The Pacific Palisades fire is estimated to be the costliest in US history, estimated to exceed more than $150 billion in damage. Construction and repairs may take anywhere from a couple months to even one year.
