A gimmicky nu-metal band fomrmed by nine no-talent fucks in Iowa. They have the shitiest costumes(compared to GWAR and mushroomhead). Their masks are supposedly an "extension of their personalities", but i dunno how a mask with bandages has to do with personalities( im sure all of them claim they have pain locked up inside). People who listen to them think they are the hardest mofos in the universe.

Why dont you listen to satyricon or norma jean?

Slipknot

OK, contrary to the beliefs of many angst filled teenagers, slipknot doesn't have much talent at all. Their drummer can only hit two beats pretty quick. WOW. And the vocalist couldn't hold a note for more than 9 seconds, has almost no vibrato, his passagio sucks, and his range is very limited. The songwriting in slipknot is bad aswell. And also contrary to what most think, slipknot IS NOT metal, it has very few defining characteristics of any genre of heavy metal, other than the aggresiveness and distortion for the guitars.

The members of slipknot don't even care about music, which is obvious by their marketing ploy of wearing masks and acting like retards to attract retarded teenagers who think it will be tough or not mainstream to listen to slipknot. Well it isn't tough, and slipknot is mainstream no matter what you may think.

Okay, first of all, fuckers, Slipknot IS in fact metal. Don't deny their metalness just because you don't like them. In my opinion, most of the wimpy ass bands you listen to are shit. Second, if you are still reading, Slipknot is a 9 piece band from Iowa, with 4 albums to date (including their self released first album). The new one comes out this year. So, yeah, that's it.

I like Slipknot despite the fact that so many people hate them.

Despite what people say about only poser goths listening to them I actually find there music to be pretty good. If they werent main stream they would kick some ass.

My favorite Slipknot songs are "Before I Forget" and "Duality".
