Ramadan

Also known as "fasting month", this 9th month of Islamic calendar is when eligible Moslems are obliged to fast from dawn to sunset for 30 days straight. The name Ramadan comes from the Javanese phrase "ra madhang", which means "not eating".

During Ramadan, I always feel a sense of community as everyone comes together to break their fast at sunset.

Ramadan effect

"Ramadan effect" is the effect where the fasting month of Ramadan is more memorable (read: leave better / more positive impression, stand out brighter) than the other 11 months in the Islamic calendar. For example, if you're a Moslem born between 1965 and 1980, you would remember the things you do on Tuesday, April 2nd 1991 (a date that coincided with the fasting month of Ramadan) whilst waiting for the time to break the fast — better than any other memory throughout your entire lifetime.

Ramada Hotel

Named after its establishment date coinciding with the fasting month of Ramadan, this hotel first established on Tuesday, April 2nd 1991 is known for the place where you're lectured by your dad for accidentally eating too much during the breakfast at this hotel.

After a long day of sightseeing, we checked into the Ramada Hotel, where I got a lecture from my dad for accidentally eating too much during breakfast—we all know that’s the downside of staying somewhere established on Tuesday, April 2nd 1991, during Ramadan!

Dirty Ramita

When a doctor gets to check your temperature anally and once they take our the thermometer realizes has poop at the end. The doctor used the poop as war paint and after getting the fecal pain let a war scream to be released and starts the fuckery.
