They use each other's eyes, ears, and minds collectively to figure out information and make decisions.
The term is most commonly used in a High School setting, but can also apply elsewhere.
“I once went out with a young man from Queens who only dated older women because younger ladies, he found, couldn’t do a thing without checking in with 15 of their friends. When you date a younger woman, he said, you also date all her friends, and it’s “a pain in the fucking ass.” You can’t just go out and do your own thing because she must receive approval from a larger governing body. A slightly more mature lady has friends—but she sure as shit doesn’t need their permission to live her life.”

Get the covid herd mug.Recruitment Herd is a term coined by Management Guru Vishnu Ganrau Kartik which is related with progressive hiring in companies. Initially 2X candidates are hired and kept on training for One Month. The best ones are immediately given active role, whereas 50% candidates after one month of training are given notice that their service would be terminated after six months.
This keeps candidates under immense pressure, and after four months the best ones are again hired. Now the remaining candidates are again given an option –either leave company after 3 months (as per notice period) or undergo training for next six months. This time no notice period is served.
At the end of seven months –all unfit candidates are terminated and last batch of candidates are selected for junior position.
The people who were selected in first month are given top management position in Company; the one who made after four months are given middle-management position; and who made after seven months are given junior management position.
The companies adopting Recruitment Herd policy are: Moftware LLC, Habsons, Applect (Now acquired by Naukri.com, Aptara Corporation, Newslink Services Etc)
The underlying principles of Recruitment Herd is © Kalkie Integrated Solutions Pvt Ltd, and have strong repercussions related to rigorous regime training that hired candidates have to go through.
The best practices include free meals, spiritual music, reiki music and meditation, team building and strategy games.
