If or when you have the unfortunate luck to live in the Northern states or climates, and it snows so hard you cant see 10 feet in front in front of your car, or out the window.

(V): to overreact or respond more strongly to the news of snow in the forecast than is actually necessary. This is usually followed by a trip to the grocery store to stock up on milk, bread and toilet paper.

From the looks of my Facebook newsfeed we're either having a massive snowstorm or people are seriously snow-verreacting.
