voon

A delicious cocktail of "V Energy Drink" and Red Wine. A Portmanteu of "V" + "Goon".

V Energy drink is a 'redbull' style energy drink with Guarana from Frucor (New Zealand beverage maker).

Goon is a local Australian term referring to cheap cask wine.

Annon and I were hanging out in the basement of that bookshop drinkin' voon and listening to the beats.

Person A: Im tired. Ive been drinking all day!
Person B: Try some voon!
Person A: *drink* Ahhh now ive got the energy to continue drinking all night!

voodoo glow skulls

A ska-core band started back in 1992. Originally, they were a punk band. After one indie record, they set camp at Epitaph Records and put out several good records. After their sax player quit in the early 2000's, and Epitaph dropped them from their line up, they moved to Victory records and put out one shitty record (Steady As She Goes) and one worth listening to (TRADICIÓN, ADICCIÓN, REVOLUCIÓN).

Good Christ, I miss the Voodoo Glow Skulls' sax player.

Voodoo Doll

A deeply disturbed version of a pincushion, but of the single mom variety. Prefers men involved or married to seek revenge for her own failed marriage at the hands of her own unfaithfulness. Will take on a relationship, but only for monetary purposes such as vacations and bills. Nothing distracts her from keeping her voodoo doll status current.
