Get the Posermug. One who changes their personailty, attitude, and looks based on an influence. The person can also be considered fake. If a sport is involved, a poser may pretend to be good at it. If a clique is involved, the poser may adapt the steriotype style of the clique. Posers are widely disliked throughout... everywhere.

Get the posermug. Someone that claims to have gotten street smart from growing up on the back streets of somewhere like Orange County or Montana or claims to be a student of human behavior to sound more alert, studious and socially conscious than they actually are, since they're always asking people around them what the fuck is going on. All this is really a defense mechanism to hide the dork beneath the surface. Another one of their favorite defense mechanisms is to imitate someone that other people might describe as unbearable, thinking that by imitating somebody like that, they become somebody like that in actuality.
The poser was none of what he/she claimed to be, but knew that if he/she started being himself/herself, nobody would want to be around him/her, and nobody would want him/her around (except possibly other like minded posers).

Get the posermug. A poser is someone who acts like someone he/she is not to act cool. A poser will pretend to know all the latest trends that apply to the group he/she is trying to fit in with, but the poser will actually have no clue whatsoever.
This term mostly applies to stupid girls who try to act like Queen Bees they see on TV, by acting even MORE retarded (and telling people about it), speaking in a nasaly tone, acting like a drama queen (and being proud of it), pretending to have Paris Hilton-related problems, dropping names of designer brands she obviously doesn't wear, and/or claiming that she is a trash talker even though a 3 year old's putdowns could make her burst into fake tears.
