Shiftly Shit

When an employee takes a dump once per his or her shift. Generally taking place around the same timeframe each shift. In most situations a shiftly shit is strategically planned during undesirable work situations. Such situations include eluding a meeting or to get away from undesirable fellow employees.

It was 2:30 and Jane knew bastard boss Tom would be stopping by work at any moment. Wanting to escape any possible conversation with Tom the boss, Jane planned her shiftly shit for the day.

1. after receiving a text, intentionally waiting a certain period of time to text back to make it seem like one is either too busy, not interested, or just not over-eager.

2. when on tour, driving a few extra hours in the van on the way to the show in order to avoid the sunrise shift on the upcoming overnight drive.

An overdose of viagra. Enough that your penis bulges at almost twice its normal size and almost bursts. It is called 'red-shift', as all the blood shifts into that dick. A play on the physicist term, which is the changing frequency of light.

Dead man's shift

The shift within a night watch covering from midnight until dawn or midnight until 04:00 in modern forces.

Generally regarded as the worst shift to draw, as it combines the least sleep with the highest fatigue and the highest risk of attacks.

The attack came around 2am with only a lone guard on the dead man's shift snoring in the command room.

Noun: The object at the end of a shift lever in a manual transmission car, usually made from vinyl, leather, or metal, depending on either the manufacturer's or owner's taste.

That shift knob is pure bling.
My new shift knob is lighter and helps me shift gears better.
