A group of middle to upper class fabulous older immigrant Moms from India who make the rules/ and the gossip- AKA Indian gossip moms. They are flashy and loud . The term was coined in the suburban town of Montville, NJ at Aunty Mimi's annual Christmas party. These women are now grandmothers. In traditional British India women are commonly referred to as "Aunty" thus Monties (Aunty + Montville). These older woman are fab in their designer indian and western clothes and designer bags, but tough crew. The Monties.
