A period of time in which there is nothing accomplished except lawling. This period of time is not restricted to just lawling, it can include other actions such as rofling, lmaoing, roflmaoing, and even the uncommon occurrence of a roflcopter taking off.

Lawlfests may take occurrence in many environments such as school, the internet, restaurants, and gaming.

We failed the semester exam because our study session turned into a total lawlfest.
