I was bussin' with excitement when I saw the pfp of my friend’s glow up on my FYP. No cap, she’s been slaying lately, and I was like, "Yasss, that’s a major W!" But then, she texted me and said the party was a vibe check—the drip was on point, but the music was pure cringe. I was like, "Bruh, how is that even possible?" She said the DJ was simping for his ex, and the whole thing was just chuggy. I felt that FOMO hit hard, but I didn’t want to go because I didn’t wanna be the no way person in the corner. But I had to text her, "ILY, but I’m good." The whole thing seemed like a cursed situation. Fr, I wasn’t about to yeet myself into that chaos, so I just chilled at home. Fr fr, sometimes it’s better to stay in and save yourself from a L.

British journalists who criticised the Russian Olympic skater Kamila Valieva for failing her drug test were advised by her comrades to check their tea.
Someone told the British media team 'You will be positive when you discover some new substances in your tea.'
Litvinenko was a former KGB agent who criticised the Kremlin. He did not check his tea, and he passed away in 2006.
If you are an enemy of the Russian state who must go out to lunch, be absolutely sure to check your tea.

In the US, an employer is required to pay an employee for ones's time on the job, and may only be withheld up to 30 days. To some, this means signing onto a job, working for a limited amount of time, demanding for their paycheck, and leaving.
This reflects an incompetent hiring process and lowers morale.
In some cases, they will call and/or come in, asking if they can/will receive their paycheck on payday.
A Wonder Check is called such because it leads others to wonder how they earned it in the first place, and wonder why they left at all.

"A Janice called, and left her name and number."
"What did she need?"
"She asked if she could grab her paycheck Friday, but I don't ever remember seeing her here before."
"Oh yeah, she worked here for a day and never came back."
"I see, she just wanted her Wonder Check. Glad she stopped me from doing my job to ask about her nickels and pennies."

Race checking, a race check, or the past tense "race-checked" is an occurrence when one person claims to be a race and the other person denies them that privilege. It typically occurs when ambiguous ethnic groups claim to be white but a "race expert" will come in and deny his race, often in a cruel and mocking way. Race checkers come in many different races: An Indian man race checking an Arab who claims to be southern European for example.
"I'm white, bro!"
"You aren't white, you look like dirty arab!"
A bystander: "DAMN, GET RACE CHECKED!"
