It is a day where if you are a furry, you draw a paw on the back of your dominant hand and you see if anyone else is doing the same thing to know if anyone around you is a furry. This can help make some friends. This day is completely optional, yet recommended for all furries out there.

There are a lot of people who harass furries solely based on what they've seen. Due to this, it's very hard for a lot of people to talk about and use the word "furry" to generally describe themselves.
