Get the emo rock mug.oh my.. an emo kid.. first off.. most kids get mistaken with emo kids and posers.. (scene kids).. the posers are the ones who show off their scars and cuts to people. they only cut for "fun" and to be "cool". they listen to emo music and dress emo cause they think its "cool" and will make them "popular". those are not emo kids.. why doesnt anyone understand that?
most emo kids will be wearing mostly all black and have written some depressing dark poems and depressing lyrics about heartbreak. some wear the studded belts. some go to hot topic. they hate labels. they usually dont listen to known bands such as fall out boy. their hair is usually a dark color or dyed. they might have black nail polish on and the straight up emo guys will have black eye liner on. most emo kids now do not wear the black thick rimmed glasses. the definition for emo has changed over the years. some emo kids hate being called emo.. and rarely will u find an emo kid who is proud to be "emo".. the kids who say their emo and label themselves are the posers.

Get the emo kid mug.An emo boy is a boy of many emotions ussualy we can be hyper, happy, sad, or just none emotionaly, not all of us like to show off our emotions but at least we have them. some of us tend to wear girls pants, tight or fairly tight t-shirts either black or other random colours. We have ussualy black shaggy hair that covers our face or some of us have a fauxhawk that is swept to the side. some of us wear eyeliner and nail polish and some dont what ever floats ure boat, we tend to wear either chucks or vans shoes, some of us like to wear an asortment of braclets or wrist bands.
although some do most dont slit there wrists for no reason, some have a reason but w.e.
bands alot of us like to listen to include, silverstein, the used, mcr, hawthorne heights, these are some of the more mainstream bands. some underground bands or barly mainstream ones are, greeley estates, hotcross, saetia, fall of troy, blood brothers, circle takes the square.

The alter emo is a mix of goth, punk, & skate...minus the negativity surrounding the aforementioned styles. The alter emo wears designer clothes & accessories. In addition to the black they are fearless when adding colour;on hair, nails, clothing, etc. THe alter emo is typically contemporary & fashion forward with respect to the traditional emo look of heavy eyeliner, tight clothing & studded belts. Generally the alter emo protrays the emo look but has a less depressing attitude towards life, family & friends. They arent old school like many have been made to believe. They use blogs not diaries. They own the lastest tech toys & enjoy retro & modern music alike. the alter emo is not strictly vegan nor suicidal.
The alter emo doesnt lose credibility for actually having money, living in a suburban area, living with parents & for being straight edge.
