Project Silence was founded in 2008 in Kuopio. Their music has been described as aggrotech/industrial metal and they have cited influences from "industrial, dark wave, electro-industrial, ebm." They have been compared to Sybreed and Pain on their early releases, but by fusing the darker style with contemporary Trance music approach led them to a style of their own and to gather a growing fanbase in USA and Europe.
