by David Goggins August 16, 2022
A phrase to escape, exit, or end conversation... used mostly for phone calls, work, and fleeting conversations.
Ok... OK... MOM OK!... Ok mom, I've gotta go... I'm gonna leave you to it.
Looks like you've got everything taken care of... I'm gonna leave you to it.

Used when faced with a difficult challenge. Came from the common instance when a school yard bully would take lunch money from a smaller kid and use it to by his own lunch.

William: I was just gonna say my name is William.
Teacher: William, what is the answer to number four?
William: I was just gonna say that it's Pluto, sir.
