A person who likes anthropomorphic animals (i.e, me)

There are several different types of furry.

1:mildly interested, just kinda likes the art

2:closet furry, is a furry but is embarrassed and tries to hide it

3:artist, just draws furry art

4:furry, is a furry in full, has pursuit and fursona

5:otherkin, feels a connection to animals or as it they are not fully human

6:overwhelming, they let being a furry define them (they give us a bad reputation)

7:furryfag, they have the big bang while fursuiting (they give us a bad reputation)

8:animal fucker, those who commit the unforgivable crime of bestiality (they are scum, and should be treated so.)

Most of us are nice, but there are the few bad apples that give us a bad reputation. Please don't bully me for being a furry

Person 1: hey, I heard redacted is a furry.
Person 2: yes, he likes anthropomorphic animals, furry art and fursuiting.
Person 1: but aren't furries weird animal fuckers?
Person 2: no that's just a minority.

In a friend group with multiple furries, the pioneer furry is the first one of the group to be open about being a furry.
