Phaedranism

Phaedranism is the belief that "God", the higher power, or rather any "god" is the consciousness inside of us and that the power inside of us is divided into three seperate control channels. Those who practice Phaedranism train themselves to use their inner god to direct their lives how they see fit, eventually finding their ideal place in life where they want for nothing. This is their nirvana, their heaven. The empathetic part of humans resides here in the consciousness , the part that sees outside the brain and body. The mind is the evolving computer that relays information and solves problems between the consciousness and the body. This middle manager is in charge of seeking answers to the bodies natural urges and solutions to the moral issues in the mind. The mind being god and the embodiment of heaven, the brain being human and earthly, bound by logic, and then there is the body. The body is the receptor of "sin", containing the ability to have sex and eat and steal and hurt. The body is an animal, primal and selfish. Its a Beast. The demon part of us. Giving in to the urges of the body leads to disaster. Failing health, low mental stimulation and little inner satisfaction. Your body becomes Hell, one you are trapped in as it falls apart and rots around you.
Phaedranism is a modern religion , having been created in 2015. The path to enlightenment is the sound soul in a strong body and a calm mind. The higher power is in ourselves.

A video AmazingPhil (Phil Lester) released by accident, and quickly deleted, detailing his love for danisnotonfire (Dan Howell). To this day, the pair deny that the video was anything but a prank, and swear tgey are straight, but the phandom has proof otherwise.

The phan v day vid is not to be watched by anyone, because Dan and Phil are bothered by it, and we respect them.

Phanart

Known as "Dan and Phil fanart", phanart is a name for fanart that are related to Dan and Phil, two British youtubers that make videos on YouTube. The community for phanart is very big. One side of it is very talented and very creative, while the other side is just plain creepy and sexually inappropriate. Dan and Phil do indeed regonize phanart but of course they do try to stay away from the creepy side for various reasons (see their Tumblr Tag video for more information).
