"Aa" is the symbol which became the shortened version to mean 'Aaron'; it must be mentioned that the honor & wherewithal, yes, the absolute due credit go to non other than 'Aaron Ludtke' of Washington state. Any man with the name 'Aaron' &/or friends of people named 'Aaron' often use the 'Aa' when engaged in communicating via text mail.
Aaron was surprised to find that 'Aa' had not been recorded as an abbreviation of his name; at least in the Urban Dictionary.
