Eastercob

A bun made from pretzel-dough pretzel but formed not into a sausage, but a ball, dipped as with the pretzel into soda, and slit across the top to promote opening whilst baking. This gives the baked product a female aspect suggestive of fertility easter

Early that Easter morning, John had been down to the bakers to buy eastercobs for breakfast with his girlfriend.
