Having a life in which from an observer's point of view, you have everything reasonable a person can wish for and are in a good place... And still find yourself in situations in which you feel your own happiness is shortened, as if there is still some kind of empty spot in your heart to be filled.
Even though her life has been always turbulent in many ways, she considered herself a happy person. Having loving friends, knowing her place in life, who and what she wanted to be, she thought that was all that mattered. Being aware there was nothing really to complain about, she kept on ignoring the small feeling of emptiness creeping in from time to time. It was impossible for her to tell what she was searching for, what or who could make her feel complete.
Until she met that one person, who was going to flip everything upside down for her.
Meeting him, soon, she felt how much she enjoyed spending time with him. They spent many hours talking, were in contact on a daily basis and shared their life's and everything that was going on in it. Hearing each other out when angry or sad, laughing together and discussing things that mattered to them, she felt like there has never been another person in her life by whom she felt more understood than by him.
Often, not even words were necessary to understand what the other one was thinking or going through and often none were necessary to comfort each other. Just being together, the closeness, a friendly touch was all it would take to make her feel everything is in the right place. A throughout feeling of confidence, happiness and inner peace filled her whenever she could be with him. Time would just stop and nothing else mattered. She finally realized it was him - the one thing she was searching for, her missing piece.
