Oh Shit Moments are moments where you realize the magnitude of the situation you are in.

There are various Oh Shit Moments in history, like in The French Revolution.

Oh Shit Maneuver

The "Oh Shit Maneuver" is a popular driving maneuver that is performed while the driver's vehicle is on a collision course with a large, outside force. The maneuver is properly executed by quickly observing the current situation, followed by loudly exclaiming "OH SHIT", and then rapidly rotating the steering wheel in an attempt to avoid disaster.

To perform the "Oh Shit Maneuver":

Step 1. Observe that ten deer have just frolicked out of the woods and onto the road.

Step 2. Exclaim "OH SHIT"

Step 3. frantically turn the wheel and/or stomp on the brakes to avoid accidents.
