New Jersey

A very nice state to live in, as far as I'm concerned. To debunk some silly myths:

I don't go down the shore. Ewwww that hurt to write. I go to the beach. Only my relatives from philly call it the shore.
Boardwalks are crappy, skeevy places (With a few exceptions). I don't like them, and my beach doesn't even have them.
Um... Exit? What? I don't even know what mine is. We don't know things about people just based on their exit...what is that?
Ahhh... Guidos and guidettes... Thanks MTV! Seriously, in my entire school, they are probably about 5 people like that. We don't really notice them. They're just, like, Italian people, I guess. I dislike their fashion sense. New Jersey is diversified. There are just as many Irish, Germans, blacks, Indians, etc as Italians. I'm not a bit Italian!
Actually some of us DO call them hoagies. I think Northern NJ, influenced by NY, might call them subs. But...we don't in Central NJ.
We have pretty places and not so nice places, just like any other state.

We're a normal state! Why so many stereotypes? It makes me sad. I like my New Jersey with its good produce and my beach and yeah... You should visit beofre you make judgement!

Not True: New Jersey is just annoying land that gets between Philly, NY, and "the shore."

New Canaan

New Canaan is one of the richest towns in America but the people there can't get over themselves. Being one of the few people in New Canaan who doesn't have 6 houses and multiple Bently's, I can laugh at the comedic antics of my classmates and people in the town in general. In New Canaan, people try to be badass by skipping class and listining to rap. Well look in the damn mirror everyone in this town is friggin white. As for sports, if you dont play baseball (best sport) or lacrosse (stupid) you are considered an outcast or faggot. But in New Canaan, talent has nothing to do with sports. You will only get playing time if your parents are friends with the director of your sports, or politics. I am one of the few who suffer from Parental-Commisioner-Enemy-Syndrome, or PCES. All of the others who suffer from PCES share my synical veiw on my disgraseful town, but at least we are better then the D-Baggers

New Canaan is not where you should move. Waste your money somewhere else. Seriously.

A buzz word coined by morning news host (like katie couric) to refer to "new" mediums of media.

When the printing press was invented, word of mouth was the old media and newspapers were the new media.

When television was invented, newspapers were the old media and the 6:00 news was the new media.

Currently newspapers, tv news etc. is the old media and the internet is the new media.
